jake-roble-photoJake Roble is a student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison honors college studying Biology and Global Health. He has traveled to Ghana twice studying child slavery, health access, and poverty. His experiences in Ghana spurred a passion for understanding the intersections of health and poverty. Since his travels, he has worked with his High School to fundraise over $20,000 for a rehabilitative home for children rescued from slavery, organized national conferences ex the role of students in advocating for global change, and co-founded a community organization in Madison that supports the work of Partners In Health. He aspires to one day become a physician and work with developing governments to create functioning health systems that are accessible to all.
