Frances Laskey teaches English at the the Wisconsin School of Business at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She returned to school after over 25 years in the private sector. Before coming to Madison, she was Director of Human Resources for Berkeley Policy Associates, a small, employee-owned social policy research/program evaluation company. She also served two terms as president of the California Employer Advisory Council. Despite “opting out” of the business world, she retains a strong interest in promoting and facilitating employee ownership, and in programs that help strengthen and encourage small businesses.
