Nina Hale is a grateful capitalist. Hale, in 2014, decided to sell her agency for “several million dollars” to the employees through an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), a 40-year-old ownership structure that has enabled 15 million American workers to become owners of 9,323 companies. So far, the Nina Hale deal is working well.
