Modern Technology Solutions Inc. has become a 100 percent employee-owned company after the Alexandria, Virginia-based engineering services and technology services contractor completed an employee stock ownership plan launched in 2008.
Kevin Robinson, CEO and president of MTSI, said in a statement released Tuesday that the move to a full employee-owned structure seeks to help MTSI maintain a business model in support of employees and clients as well as realize the vision of founders Phil Soucy and Tom McMahon to form an independent firm that works to address “problems of global importance.”
