An ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan) company and family-owned business with more than $3.5 billion in revenue, D&H Distributing is gearing up for its 100th anniversary year in 2018. D&H and its executives have won the following awards in the past three months:
Forbes America’s Largest Private Companies: D&H Distributing is listed at #123 this year, and has been a top-125 company on this list since 2009. The 2017 list of largest private companies is reserved for firms with revenues greater than $2 billion, and includes household names such as Dell, ADT, Deloitte, Facebook, Bloomberg, and Fidelity Investments. D&H is thrilled to be in such esteemed company.
2017 Microsoft® Corporation Excellence in Operations Award: D&H won a Silver Level Award for superior operational excellence by delivering one or more successful process improvement projects to optimize their operations. The distributor has been recognized in this award program on a recurring basis since before the turn of the decade.
Central Penn Business Journal Top Private Company: D&H has been named the #1 company on this roster since it first applied for inclusion on this revenue-contingent list in 2010. D&H is one of the largest employers in the Harrisburg area.
CRN Power 100 Women of the Channel: D&H Vice President of Marketing Mary Campbell was named to this industry list once again, recognizing “the most powerful women of the channel.” This is Mary’s sixth appearance on the Power 100 list, and she has been included on the Women of the Channel list since it first appeared in 2010.
CRN Magazine’s Top 100 Executives: D&H Co-presidents Michael Schwab and Dan Schwab appeared at #25 on the Top Sales Leaders list in CRN magazine this year, part of the overall Top 100 Executives lists, which published in early August. Both executives appeared in CRN’s and The Channel Company’s top executive lists as early as 2007, and topped the magazine’s “SMB Superstars” list in 2011 at number one.
